Title: Overclocking a 1600+
Post by: fallingheights on October 20, 2005, 02:31:46 PM
Howdy.

I like to overclock things. I mean, I do stupid things with my poor CPUs, but the 1600+ in particular, it just loves getting hurt.

So check it out:

Note: That core voltage isn't right; that's really the voltage of my northbridge. The voltage on the CPU is around 1.97V.

Air cooled, of course, and cheap old stuff at that. Been running it this fast for a while, nice and stable. I can bring it up to 2255, but the amount of voltage I have to crank through the poor thing scares me.
