Title: Wireless Home Network Trouble
Post by: steerpike on November 19, 2005, 08:39:57 AM
When I send files between my laptop and PC they only work going from laptop to PC. Sending small files (500KB to 35MB) from PC to laptop are ok, but if I send a 350+MB file from PC to laptop I get Dr. Watson error and I have to reboot the laptop.

Any help to sort out where the trouble is would be greatly appreciated.

Both computers have WinXP. The Laptop has SP2 on it. I'm using a D-Link DI-524 wireless router for the network. Let me know if further details are needed.

Thanks.

I assume you mean to format the HD on my laptop? I've done that already, a few times. But I still have the same problem.

It's not laptop to laptop, it's laptop to desktop, but I assume that doesn't really make any difference.

Is there anything else I can check for?

Thanks.
