Title: smrtdrv- where can i find it?

i\'m trying to install xp and it keeps telling me that smartdrive isn\'t loaded and it would make the process of copying files faster. where can i find smartdrive?

Why dont you make a bootable cd? same process (and files) as win2k.

you can find smartdrive in windows 98. check C:Windows or C:WindowsCommand

well...i tried making a bootable w2k cd and i wasn\'t very successful and i haven\'t tried it since. maybe i\'ll give it a shot....someday....but for now booting up from a floppy is good enough for me!!

You can find it on a dos setup dosk or on a Win98 Boot disk
