My review for Fear Effect 2:Retro Helix
The game where the secret agents are women, kinda like Charlie’s Angels.
Title: Fear Effect 2:Retro Helix
Platform: Playstation
My Rating: 8.7/10
Gameplay:
In Retro Helix, you are a secret agent who happens to be a girl, and sometimes switch roles with your “partner” that also happens to be a lady. Anyways, the game is mostly a detective game where sometimes the secret agents get “busy” with each other just so they can get away from trouble and to continue with their investigations. Mostly you just are presented with a bunch of cases in which you have to solve by all means.
Sound:
There is no music or beat in this game but only sound effects and talking. This is because in one case you are in a haunted building so this just helps rise the suspense.
Graphics:
For the game being on playstation, the graphics are pretty good, if you know what I mean when I say “pretty.” The buildings in which the scenes take place are well detailed and contribute to the detective side of the game. The lady detectives are very hot and fully detailed, and so are the bad guys.
Maneuvering:
The only characters you are allowed to control are two girls whose names are Rain and Hanna. They are easy to maneuver and at times can be frustrating to move around with since in some levels the camera is viewing you from the front or to one side. The only problem is the camera view.
Entertaining:
The game can get a little dirty since the two ladies like to mess around with each other at times so their enemies think their both lez. That is why the game is rated Mature and can be really entertaining for us guys. Either way this game is very entertaining if you’re into the whole detective thing.
