Hi, i need help with this task that should be simple but has had me tearing my hair out!

I hav a crack of windows xp which cannot download service pack 1 or 2 because it is a known cracked serial. I need USB 2.0 for use with audio equipment but i cant download a usb 2.0 driver because every download site i look at sends me to windows update to download service pack 2 or gives me a driver which doesn't work with the via controller i have. I've also sent off for service pack 2 on cd but this still recognises my windows as being dodgy and doesnt install.

Any suggestions?

i will send u a windows validation so u can bypass the validation on windows update but i dont know if it works for sevices packs we took on msn
