Title: Need some assistance
Post by: mcnasty on January 14, 2006, 02:26:55 PM
My computer is having some problems and i am pretty sure that i have narrowed the problems down to the system32 folder.  I ran Hijak this.  I also ran a windows reg command in the start>run application... but i dont remember what that command was.  If anyone knows what that command is please let me know.

Is there any way someone could look at my Hijak this log and tell me what could be wrong with my comp?

Here is my Hijak this log:

I can see the problems your having, but if you need a hand, I must see everything
If you have done fixes with hijackthis, please restore what you fixed
Some or all may be necessary

Open Hijackthis>>View a List of backups>>Highlight and restore all backups
If you have added anything to the Ignore list of hijackthis
Open the Ignore list and delete the entries

if you are controlling entries on startup
Go to start>>run>>type in msconfig
Click OK

Under the STARTUP tab>>>Enable ALL
Under the General tab>>    Select Normal startup

Reboot the computer

Back in Windows
Can you redownload Hijackthis 1.991. from my signature below please
Save it too a permanent folder on your harddrive
It's best to make a folder of it's own for hijackthis
ONLY run hijackthis from this new location
Post a fresh hijackthis log afterwards
