Title: Old DOS Games on Win2k

Hello, I am in need of help with Final Doom, Doom2, and Ultimate Doom running under Win2k.  Whenever I run a game with my sound fx on, it freezes within the first 2 seconds of the game menu.  I can still play the games with only music but no sound fx, but I kind of defeats the purpose, so i was wondering if there were any way to have my Doom work with the sound fx or if there is any conversion program to make Doom more compatible with Win2k.  I have a Soundblaster 128D.
