Title: red hat network

does anybody know how to setup internet connection in linux red hat 7.1? well, i tried the rp3 using dial up, it didn\'t work...somehow..then now i have cable modem connection...but i\'m not sure how to set it up.
any suggestions?

As long as the OS can \"see\" your modem then it should automatically give you the option to manually set up the connection or an \"auto-detection\" method, which works great in Red Hat with cable modems. Make sure that you don\'t have a USB modem because Linux is very uncooperative concerning USB devices, not much support for USB in Linux yet.
