Title: New Windows Update Validation Tool 03/03/06

Hi all, as of 03/03/06 Microsoft has updated their windows update site with yet ANOTHER updated windows validation tool.

For those of you who have disabled the tool in IE via Tools > Manage Add Ons it is now no longer possible.

So I ask you, how can I get past the Windows Update Validation so I can grab the Windows Updates again since the new validation tool has arrived.

I don't have a legit copy of XP, of course.

Anyone who knows how to get around this please reply

You can bypass it by doing

1.go to C:\Windows\System32\ and look for legitcheckcontrol.dll now drag it to the desktop now on System32 look for lmrt.dll and copy it and paste now go to the bottom of the folder where you will see copy of lmrt.dll now rename it to legitcheckcontrol.dll and that should be it get downloading it worked for me so.
