So I opened an email (on the upstairs computer) and there was some porn in it and then the computer froze for a while. It wasn't budgin, and wasn't budging... So I finally just shut it off. Now when I try to start I get a message that asks if I want to satrt windows from the last good configuration, and I do and it tries to start up but then goes back to that. I tried safe mode, same thing, so obviously I can't get a hijack this log.... Is there any way to fix it without a system wipe? (my pics!  /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' /> )

Try to boot windows from a floppy(if ya made a back-up) or windows recovery cd

Im guessing you have win XP if so check this link out:

ya there are links where you used like 5-6 floppies to get it working. i had that happen to me a while ago.
