I am running Windows 2000, and have a SB Live! When I go to install it Win2k Picks it up as a Audio Media Controller.
I can\'t get drivers installed. When I run LiveWare it says can\'t find the SB Live Card.
I have had this card a while and its a clean install of win2k, I am 100% sure its a sblive also.
Any suggestions?

sb live is normally recognized by w2k on installation of w2k and given wdm drivers by w2k . To upgrade those wdm drivers you need liveware 3.0 , earlier drivers are not compatible . Are you sure it is sb live you have .If it is you must find CT followed by 4 numbers on the card , and with this you can find out which sb live you have . f.e; CT4620 is an early version of sb live if not the earliest .

I am positive its a live card, i\'ve had it a long time, i realize that windows 2k finds live cards on clean installs, etc.
I had the card installed just fine then moved it over a slot and now I have these issues.
Ive tried to delete the emu10k(sp) and the creative folder and rebooting with no prevail.

The only thing I can tell you is try to find out which other card shared the IRQ before you replaced the sblive card , and now , in your mo bo user manual and make it like before .
Otherwise in the instruction manual are 5,7,9,10 possible standard irqs .my sb live is on the 3rd pci slot IRQ5 together with my DXR3(ct dvd encore) on pci slot 5 .
Normally the first pci slot shares IRQ with the agp slot .
My pci slot 6 is a slave slot for cards not needing busmastering and is free , my first pci slot is also free.
I think you simply have to try other slots , or restore the original settings .
good luck

Did you already find a solution for your problem? I experience the same problem with W2K and SB live.
