Title: My point is...
Post by: Noobish Elf on April 25, 2006, 02:50:56 PM
No matter how many successfull trades he has
No matter how many posts he has
No matter how nice he will be with you
No matter of his RuneScape combat level
No matter of his age
Dont trust anyone!
Most people will try to be nice with you, so they gain your trust
OR gain peoples trust with small stuff, then when it comes something good (eg a phat), they take it, by mm-ing, or they say they r already trusted, and you can say by by to phat.
I trusted my best friend with many stuff, then when i did it with phat, its gone.
Can I do anything about it?
NO!
I hope you understand what I mean, if no, you will, after u pass thru what i did...

Today I found out that a very trusted member, called nypur3hoppz is a scammer...
And thats very sad...

P.S. I dont blame anyone, and Im not acusing anyone.
Only you know whatever you are a scammer or not...

i will stick to small stuff, i doubt if i get a phat i would want to sell it. i would just sell it for mills, then sell mills like that person (who used nypure)  should've done

this is  not neccesarily true, there would be no reason why i would feel the need to scam someone, this may not apply to all and to some ppl it might, but your real life attitude/personality will eventually fall into your online attitude towards others, but to be quite honest 90% of this sites members might be scammers, but theres not much that would make those who are truly trustworth steal from others. stealing is wrong and those of you who are / where religious or well brought up would understand this concept of life.

Yes, but what Im saying is that how do I know you are really trustworthy?
Can you prove it for ever?

How can I know the 10% that isnt scammer?
Only you know what you know, if u r 1 or not...

yeh, im saying i know who i am, and those who have delt with me know what im about. perhaps u personally dont, and perhaps you have had bad luck with people in the past, this doesnt mean that everyone has the same attitude. those who are trusted so far deserve more then the benefit of the doubt. nypur3hoppz is a bad example of trusted, but can u name anyone else of that list who has lead a similar path. no.

Yeah i dont really feel the need to scam either, i mean the delights of having a phat would be nice, but i would never be able to steal one as i would feel extremly guilty and i would rather earn a phat my self rather than go as low as scammers...

So i agree with what you say, but i also disagree a bit as there are some VERY trusted people on this forum.

I think most ppl start scamming after they've been scammed already...
