Title: Modifying your Windows XP Boot logo
Post by: dbh on December 31, 2001, 01:50:10 PM
Hmm... I\'m using Photoshop 6.0 full retail and the demo (uncrippled) of PSP7.0, and I cannot seem to find the \'16.act\' file for photoshop or the \'16.pal\' file for PSP7.0.  These palletes are needed to view the winxp startup logo bitmaps...  anyone know what I\'m doing wrong-- or happen to have these?  I did a search, and they simply don\'t exist on my hard-drives.

You need to download the palette first:

Forgive me - maybe a dumb question. I am attempting to do the same thing. I have the file needed (16.act) (also using photoshop 6 here)... but don\'t know how to import the pallet?

Any help would be very much appreaceated.
