MS has released DirectX 8 but hasn\'t posted download links yet. If you just can\'t wait, you can download DirectX 8 for Win2k here and DirectX for Win9x here. These are the final releases, but I won\'t guarantee them. Comment on your experiences in the forum.
*update* I have finally gotten to install them for myself and they work fine. Nothing spectacular, but it\'s just been released and most video cards don\'t have DirectX 8 optimized drivers yet.
