ok, I know this sound stupid, but how to over clock your CPU?
-
If you want to get a faster computer add sdram .
Overclocking has allways the risk to burn your cpu ,if you don\'t mind search for a site where overclocking is explained .
There is more in it than just the cpu speed (fsb clock, cpu core voltage )

ok, I went to that site and take a look, all I know is that i\'m running a Pentium 3 450MHZ, but I saw a list of 3 different types of Pentium 3, they are Pentium 3 Katmai Pentium 3 Coppermine and Pentium 3 Tualatin, how to find out which Pentium 3 i\'m using?

All P3-450\'s are of the earliest type, the Katmai. This has the 1/2 speed 512KB L2 cache. I had one that I ran on a 133FSB for 600MHz on chip, about the outer limit for this style cpu. Also, great variation exists as these cpu\'s where produced for a long time. Later versions typically feature faster cache memory and typically permit a more substantial overclock.
