Title: Error in Slipstream files concerning WIN2KSP2
Post by: Anonymous on January 17, 2002, 08:49:27 PM
http://www.thetechguide.com/articles/slipstream.html (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/articles/slipstream.html\")

Error in the above article.

The article says:
\"Open up a Command Prompt box (note that you must be in Win2k already to do the slipstream). Type in \"c:sp2i386updateupdate.exe /s:c:win2k\" exactly.\"

The author seems to be using an older version of win2ksp2, as when I downloaded the file, there is no \"update.exe\" included in the file.

Did you extract the files from the sp2 you downloaded?  Yes it\'s an exe, but you can open it in winzip and extract the files from it (there is also a switch to use that will extract the files to whatever directory you choose, but I don\'t remember it off hand).
