Title: windows xp startup

I recently reinstalled xp on my computer. what i think happened is it installed the newer xp version on 1 hard drive and the old is on the other. at start up it asks me which windows xp do i want to boot up with.  

if i have to reinstall i would like to reformat hd. any assistance would be great.
