Well, im building my bro a new cp and i gave my windows xp cd to a family member to use and never got it back and they lost it, so i was wandering if there was a way to copy windows off of my computer or put it on a cd and install it sor something?

I highly doubt that it's possible. If you don't want to spend money, either borow XP from someone, or download a pirated copy. Who cares if you can't download some things from the microsoft web site. Just go on the computer that already has windows and download whatever you need onto a CD. There is nothing else you're missing out on.

so all i do is download the file WINDOWS to a cd and put it in the pc

No. Just go on to www.utorrent.com, download utorrent, then go to www.isohunt.com and download a Windows XP torrent. Open it with utorrent and windows will start downloading. This is illegal downloading, so if you think it's wrong, don't do it, but most people I know don't care. I live in Canada. Nobody around here cares if u download illegaly. Not even cops or the government.
