Title: How do you install an Audio Driver on SuSE 9.3
Post by: ~ambience~ on July 13, 2006, 10:38:36 PM
I have an onboard REALTEK ALC655 6-Channel. I downloaded a driver for Linux so that's done. Where do I go from there? I'm new to Linux, but I was looking around and I tried lots of stuff on YaST but still no sound. I don't know how it doesn't have a driver for a common company for onboard sound. PLZ help!

Well.. I have no idea about linux, because i've never used it... But on windows xp you would go to your device manager and right click your sound card (On windows it will have a yellow exclamation point near it (meaning somethings wrong)), and click update drivers. Idk if it's the same, but gl.
