Hidden.  You can download a single install version from Barts site.  http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#w2k (http://\"http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#w2k\") the bootsector is included in the w2k addon zip file.

Brain Fart:
Are you making a single OS boot disk?  If so the dat file is inside the bin file.  We use the dat file to emulate (sort of) a bin file.  For a single boot 2000 CD use the instructions provided here at http://www.thetechguide.com/win2kbootcd/ (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/win2kbootcd/\").  Just swap out the parts about Pro for Datacenter.  The boot sector is the same for all versions of 2000.

In other words, the dat file is only needed for a multiboot cd.  You may still need to use the dat file if you can\'t get the boot.bin file supplied to work.  Just remember to that if you use a dat file you still need to load some other bin file to make it bootable.

Did that make sense?

boot.bin for single boot
-or-
xxxx.dat as a pointer when using a multiboot loader like the one supplied at my site and also found at Bart\'s site.
