Title: Problems logging into hot mail and banking sites

A friend is having a problem with internet access. They have a Win XP machine running Firefox latest version. They are in a hotel with WIFI and can surf the web fine, but when they try to login into HOT - mail or banking, it just times out. Tried calling them for more details just now, if I hear from them, I will see if there is anymore details.

Any ideas?

Well since the computer is new, my friend called Toshiba, after an hour of trying things, they had her reinstall from the recovery disk.  What a joke.
