Title: Bypassing WinXp serial number

Recently I wanted to install Windows Xp on my machine. Everything worked perfectly well except the damn serial number. It just doesn\'t work! Is there a way to bypass it or can you sent me another one? Or is there a protection so it only works on one machine?

Is this a legit cd and key?  If so call MS (or the PC manufacturer if it\'s an OEM version) and tell them the situation.  There\'s no known way to bypass the serial, and yes you have to activate each copy so it deters you from using on multiple machines.

Problem solved. I just typed it wrong (doh, couldn\'t read my own letters). Sorry for disturbing you :-)
