Title: 1606 error
Post by: Marcia on August 13, 2006, 06:32:51 PM
Recently installed Windows 2000 on desktop pc.  I'm trying to hook up a Lynksys wireless router and my HP All-in-one printer.  While doing this on both items I'm getting "Error 1606. Could not access network location <Common Administrative Tools>. All Users\."  I have gone onto the Microsoft website and did what they suggested - didn't work.  I have searched the error and found tons of suggestions - a lot I've tried to no avail.  Some suggestions I've had to undo because of bad results.  Everything I've done has involved the registry.  Any suggestions?
