Title: Spam Problem

I am having a serious issue with spam being sent out by my cpu. I have been listed on many sites like spamcop regarding this. I have removed myself from thier lists several times after I thoght I had fixed the problem only to find myself back on the list. I have used AdAware, Spybot, SwatIt, Panda, AVG and nothing seems to find or fix the problem. I have run Hijackthis and here is the log. I hope someone here can help me out. Thank you for your time.

Sorry for the delay, if you still need a hand, can you do the following please
Ensure that everything is running on startup in msconfig if you disabled any startup entries
Just to ensure, go to START>>RUN>>type in
msconfig
Under the Services tab Enable all>>click Apply
Under the Startup tab   Enable all>>click Apply
Under the General tab ensure Normal startup is selected
Apply and close
Then reboot the computer afterwards

and post a fresh hijackthis log please

Download and install Windows CleanUp! 4.5.2 (http://\"http://www.stevengould.org/downloads/cleanup/CleanUp452.exe\")
Don't run it yet

CleanUp! attempts to delete files from various temporary directories (including download directories/caches),
as well as emptying the Recycle Bins.
If you make a habit of saving files that you wish to keep in any of these places,  they will be deleted when CleanUp! is run.
Please move them too a different location before we run this tool if the above is true
Note: It is generally considered poor practice to use temporary folders or the Recycle Bin to store files you intend to keep.

==Download the Killbox by Option^Explicit (http://\"http://www.atribune.org/downloads/KillBox.exe\").
* Save it to a folder or desktop
Don't run it yet

Do a "System scan only" with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [.nvsvc] C:\WINDOWS\system\smss.exe /w


After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows
Including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

I see you have McAfee's and AVG installed
If you recently just installed McAfee's can you uninstall it
If it was all disabled on startup with msconfig

Can you go back to msconfig and disable all startup and service entries related to McAfee's and then reboot your computer again
Having more than one AV actively running in the background can cause system instabilities
Ensure to reboot the computer after disabling or removing McAfee's

Back in Windows
Go to START>>RUN>>copy and paste the following command in bold directly below then hit OK

sc delete "Windows Log"

==Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

    * Empty Recycle Bins
    * Delete Cookies
    * Delete Prefetch files
    * Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Close down all browser windows
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.
When it's done>>Click Close
DECLINE to Log off or Restart the computer
NOTE: The first time you run CleanUp! it may prompt to run in Demonstration mode
Deny this, we want to run the actual cleanup!!
Run this twice please

Open killbox.exe.
Select the option "Delete on reboot".
Click the button: All Files [color=\"#009900\"](!important!)[/color]
Now it should flash green.

Now copy ALL the next bold part:

Open 'file' in the killboxmenu on top and choose Paste from clipboard

Then press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be removed on next reboot and asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES
If you don't get that message, reboot manually.

If everything is running good
We should flush all your restore points to ensure you don't restore your computer to an infected point
 and also start you off with a fresh, clean restore point
 

Go to START>>RUN
Type in

msconfig
Click OK
Click the "Launch System Restore" button
On the Left hand side click on "System Restore Settings"
Put a Check in "Turn off System Restore"
Apply it and OK out of there>>Reboot your computer

Back in Windows, Go back and take the check out of "Turn off system restore"
This will reenable the System Restore feature and creates a new restore point
No need for restart

*Install  SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 by JavaCool (http://\"http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html\")  

*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer

After installation, Check for updates and then click the "Enable all protection"
"Check for updates every couple of weeks"
after every update just simply click the "enable protection on all unprotected items"

                 
*Make sure your Anti-Virus software is always kept up to date and actively running in the background
Setting your AV to Autoupdate is a very smart move

*Keep your Firewall protection enabled
A Firewall is also very important
This provides a line of defense against someone who might try to access your computer without your permission

Update and do scan's with your Anti-Spyware programs on a regular basis
In addition>>Open Spybot 1.4
Click on Immunize>>OK>>Immunize at the top green cross
Do the above after every update
