Title: Win XP installation

My system configuration is
AMD 1600+
256 RAM
TNT2 graphics card
DFI AM35 TC


Whenever i try to install win xp i get this error after the first restart

STOP:C0000221 Unknown Hard Error
System RootSystem 32ntdll.dll

What exactly is the problem is it a motherboard problem.

Your ntdll.dll is missing or corrupt.

anybody know where i can download ntdll.dll for win xp

Sounds like your HDD might have had it to me and is corrupting the file(s). Try a low level format, u can get a util to do this from the HDD manufacturers site.
Or borrow a HDD from someone and give it a go in your system, just to test before you go buying a new one.
