Ok, I just worked on making a new boot up logo following the directions on one of the webpages linked to this one - http://www.thetechguide.com/howto/xpbootlogo (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/howto/xpbootlogo\") - I however saw no mention of being able to change the color pallet that XP uses - is there anyway to use more than their limited selection of colors...if so could anyone tell me how?
Thanks,
Mike

Check here for an explanation how to change the color palette using ResourceHacker (http://\"http://www.geocities.com/thejjoelc/XPbootcolors.html\") http://www.geocities.com/thejjoelc/XPbootcolors.html (http://\"http://www.geocities.com/thejjoelc/XPbootcolors.html\"). It\'s also where I learned about BootLogo, which loads new boot screens for Win2000 and XP. You can get BootLogo from the \"Tools\" link here . See a description in English of the program here: .
