Title: HElp can't get on forums at school
Post by: Pureblood on August 30, 2006, 12:19:41 PM: At school when i try to get on the forums at the techguide it says that i do not have permission to. I think someone one got the school ip banned. I am on the forums now at school but am using a very slow proxy. anonymouse.org. Is there anyway the school can get unbanned since there is many computers? I am pretty sure we have a partial t1 line and that it is provided by Sprint.

You will have to ask the school why you don't have permission to access certain links

I know many runescape users at school so they probably tried to scam on the tech guide and the mod on frag fest probably ip banned. I guess i will just have to live with them till the dumb network persons banns all known proxies i know.

By the way thanks for taking the time to read this.

i can try to take a screen shot but i think image shack is blocked at school.

Since u don't know what the problem is go ahead and lock this.

You could try and add techguides ip address to your hosts file
Then again, they probably have that controlled also

I don't like to get involved with anything blocked from a work or school computer

Normaly when i a site is blocked it says this site has been blocked by sonic wall if joestenn would reply i can get the schools ip. I am postive we were ip banned. I do not need further help on this issue since i will just a use a proxy. I don't care any more i can wait till i get home. THank you very much for your time.
