I was tying to clone my desktop system to my notebook by using GHOST2002. But I failed.
Please help me how to do.

That is unpossible. To many different hardware components.

It is possible, however you will need to prepare your system with sysprep prior to ghosting. You can download sysprep from Microsoft or extract it form your Win XP installation CD.  Check out the Microsoft Web site for XP deployment and on how to use sysprep.
