Title: Writing COM ports under NT

I\'m running Windows 2000 Professional (aka NT 5.0), and need to know how to set up a COM port address.   I have COM1 set by default, but I need to enable COMs 2-4.   I know the I/O and IRQ addresses for them I just need to know how to write to them so that WIndows will recognise more than COM1 when I try to install hardware.   Any information would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks in advance for any help!
