I was just wondering, what antivirus software fo you think is the best?
Thanks in advance.
-
Panda Platinum Internet Security for me.
-
Norton
-
McAfee
-
Kasper
-
Personally I use AVG. It's free for personal use (legally free I should say, not "found a torrent for it" kind of free), and works great.
Well, I use that on my Windows box, and nadda on my Linux boxes. Guess I like living dangerously!

NOB32 is the best than the above say...........
-
FOR FREE: AVG
PAY: Kaspersky or Norton Internet Security
-
I would have to say Norton Anti-Virus is the best seeing as i very very rarely have anything leak through this steel wall protection.....And if anything does leak through its something dumb life ''pop-up ware'' or something
-
Norton will eat anything that made your computer good then it will eat your cat... Norton is a resource hog just get AVG free it works great.
-
I have a few Operating systems
I don't recommend using more than one AV on any system, unless you use one for background scanning
I use one of all the following
AVG
AVAST
AntiVir
BitDefender
I like all, depending on what the users experience is, depends on what AV to get
For ease of use>>AVG
For something similiar to Nortons>>I guess I would say AVAST>>(Edit)Not GUI, but scanners incorporated
AntiVir>>Very good reputation, most users don't know this
BitDefender>>No realtime protection with the free version, keep this in mind, but a very good scanner

I use AntiVir which seems to find alot of bugs....including one that AVG missed or itself(AVG) was causing color problems to my monitor. AntiVir saw it right away and asked me if it should fix that? I was considering getting either another video card or monitor because that is where I thought the problem was. Hey, that sold me right there,,,and it too is free.

i like BitDefender there is A DL link in my topic check it out

Currrently on different computers I am running Norton, Nod32, avast, AVG free and MacAfee. Of the 3 paid ones I find that Nod32 is the best as Norton is a resource hog, MacAfee is a bit clunky. Avast is excellent for free av (and registration process is painless), and AVG I think is also good however I have installed other av's on computers that have AVG and they have found viruses. Hope this helps.

Forgot to say, in spite of wailing and gnashing of teeth from eg Symantec, avast also appears to integrate with Vista ok so if you are thinking of upgrading this may be the way to go

Panda Titanium 2006.
