what happened before with the p3 ocing, probably you didn\'t have a good cooling. also, probably you just got a bad luck on the cpu. but generally, p3 is a good oc\'er.
with the current setup, it also depends on how good your cooling is. the cooler it is the better you can oc.

I\'m pretty sure you can overclock that thing pretty good. I can get my XP 2100+ (~1.73Ghz) to XP 2400+(2Ghz). =)

My setup...
Athlon XP 2400+ (it\'s really a 2100+ though hehe its at 44 degrees while working hard)
Radeon 9500 Pro
Corsair XMS 512MB PC3200 DDR400
Asus A7N8X

Get a nice big all copper heatsink. Thermalright have very nice ones like the SLK-700 (that's what I have) SLK-800 or SLK-900. If your running under 40C at idle your pretty good. My Thunderbird 1.4 @ 1.533 runs at 37c.

WEll..look what we have here
Me, a 2100+ tbred-b at 2800+ 2.3ghz

First, check your core, palomino or tbred, and if u have to unlock it (if an Nforce2 motherboard, it'll unlock tbred's automatically)

and then make sure u have a good heat sink

and then check your power supply and then your memory.

ddr333 runs at 166fsb but your current setting might be 133 x 11.5 right???

well...if so...try boosting up the multiplier, to 12, 12.5

and check your ram, ddr266 runs at 133fsb (133x11.5) get it?

and slowly boost it up, both multiplier and fsb

and boost up voltage of cpu and ram slowly too, if needed

and check if windows is stable, using software such as sissandra, and if blue screens or random restarts, then yea, it's not stable.

so try.

if palomino, look around for unlocking guides.

Should be able to push that thing a ways, I got my 1700+ t-bred core to 2.3 gig, but am currently running rock solid at 2.0ghz.

I've got a kt-333 Plus, running an amd xp2000+ processor, and the same vid card as the original poster.
The bios on the board allows me to set voltages for about everything, and tons of other stuff I've never heard of.  what's a CPU Ratio?  it's set to default right now..

what voltage should the card be ran at?
