Post by: mines on March 21, 2002, 01:59:20 PM
hi, i\'m not sure how soft fsb work.., but it seems to be the only to oc my p3-550 system. i couldn\'t change the setting in bios as they probably locked it, and i guess the only way is by using soft fsb.

What do you mean by soft fsb?  Are the FSB settings changable through the bios or with jumpers on the mb?

well, some mobo doesn\'t allow you to change the setting in bios.
that\'s why i was thinking to use a software that allows you to change the setting (ie increase fsb, etc)
i have it,but don\'t know how to use it.
does anyone know how to increase fsb directly from the mobo.(ie using jumpers)...
