Hi,
I\'ve just installed installed an internal modem under Windows 2000 Prof, but it\'s come up with the error message:
\"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31)\".
However, when I click on the \'Upgrade Driver\' tab, it will only find the oem2.inf file on my hard-drive & won\'t let me install anything from my driver disk.
If I try to install a modem seperately, it puts it on COM1 without the option (in the Control Panel > Modems setting) to change it.
Any suggestions as to how I could rectify this?
Thanks,
MB

contact the manufacturer of your modem and make sure you have the right drivers
