Title: install Win2K on a USB drive connecting a notebook

Is there any way to install an OS, e.g. Win2K or WinXP to a USB harddisk connecting a notebook and then later on boot that OS on that drive ?

The notebook bios does not recognize and support the USB disk as a booting device.

Please help and advise !!!!!
