Feel free to report/delete all posts that are "legitimate" in helping you crack a runescape password. Other than the fact I don't want that kind of stuff on my forum anyways (I am lenient, but something that directly attacks another server is a definite no-no), it is something that would potentially give Jagex a leg to stand on in court. So anything that tells you how to actually hack a password is a no-no, and any post that has a file attachment that will help you hack a password is even worse (cause now we're hosting hacker tools aimed at Jagex).

I wouldn't class it as a scam as such, but i dont think they sould be allowed on the forum. They are more of a hack (it comes under brute force)
-
well yea but like jose says it may give them a case so we cant really risk it
-
Even if it wasn't a risk I wouldn't want them on Thetechguide, they are a risk to the members security (scammers, keyloggers and getting cracked)
-
Well it is scamming, and i feel bad for the innocent people that are getting scammed.
-
Being hacked feels just as bad as being scammed, so when Joes or Bloodogre see's this they will probably make it against the rules

edit - It's actuly a mix between hacking and scamming
-
yea i already removed them
-
its not a scam, they are real and legit
-
Yeah that is the problem. They are real the people that uses them are scamming. One point was taken so i am locking this topic.
