There\'s a beta version on iexbeta.com ,downloads , I do not have problems with it ,but you cannot load down any hotfixes anymore untill the real thing comes out .When , no one knows .
You allways can uninstall afterwards .

Does anyone know if Service Pack 3 is going to expand the maximun number of playable audio channels?  Right now Windows 2000 Pro will only play 20 channels of audio I think. I had heard that might be changed in an upcoming Service Pack but do not know how to tell.  I need 32+ channel capability.  Windows XP will do it, but I can\'t use XP because my customers (the military) won\'t use it because of the activation issue.

There\'s a news item  on winfuture.de  saying it could be released on the 27th , of April ,but it\'s not official , it could be released on a later date
