Title: Mhz = bytes or bits ?

As far as I know each frequency cycle (1hz) = 1 bit.
Thus a FSB of 266Mhz would be 266/8(bits)=megabyte transfer rate. This will give you 33.25 megabyte of trasfer per second.

Now. PCI runs at 66Mhz thus 8.25 megabytes per second transfer rate. Why in hell would they manufacture a PCI RAID controller id the bus speed cant handle the upped striping transfer rate?

the P4 processor can have a bus up to 400MHz bro.......!!!!
