Title: Who really knows his stuff?
Post by: cantonarv on April 23, 2002, 10:28:52 AM
I want to be able to disable/enable a webcam connected via USB port at will via either VB or vbs. Is this possible and if so how. I was thinking that there might be a registry entry or something that would toggle it on/off. If not what solution can I take,

Why not simply disable it in the device manager , imaging devices , and enable it when you want to use it .The most simple way is to unplug it .
The only occasion I see when you need to do this is ,when you double boot , and one of the operating systems doesn\'t support the software or  driver
