Windows Messanger - Aka MSN - is not owned by everyone... though it is free to download and create an account it takes up memory, and some people dont have a fast enough connection to be on it all the time. For me Personally it slows down my computer about 200-300kps.

A lot of people who dont have MSN have AIM, And I Recommend To MM-ers and frequent buyers and sellers to get AIM. Just like MSN, AIM's screennames are free and the download is also free. But unlike MSN, AIM has AIM Express which you can run through your web browser if your unable to Download AIM.

So I Recommend This - Get A AIM screenname @ least, and if you can download and use AIM.

Also i use msn because it logs all my conversations which i love. I know the aim beta 6 i think it is logs them but my comp lagged really bad when i use that.
Aim hogs my memory exspecaily the triton version.
If you desperatly need memory use windows messenger that came installed on your machine

I got both msn and aim. I just give out msn to public.

MSN laggs my computer like there is no tomorrow...AIM [Triton] Is like not even there when I use it...It doesn't interrupt my other stuff like myspace & runescape

I Like AIM better also because all my friends have it...and nobody really likes MSN...

I like  msn better but none of my friends have it so i run both at same. time. MSN doesn't hog bandwidth eaither.

i got aim windows and yahoo lol, they kill my laptop, but on my desktop its nothing noticable

idk maybe its just my computer... =P its a desktop but w/e

Aim = Better cuz more people [like my friends]

I recommend every have both if they can

[I can't cuz it slows my comp down too much]

i suppose its cuz my computer is fairly new, in fact i could list the features of it because there is a big sticker on the front telling them since it was a floor model at be$t buy

yeah right...they're on most all comps u prolly just have updated versions like Word, Excel, ect. and please stop spamming every thread
