I am in doubt as to whether my Windows ME and Windows 2000 Pro are FINAL versions or not.
The files on my Windows ME are dated: 08 June 1999
The files on my Windows 2000 Pro are dated: 19 Dec 1999
Is there any other way to verify whether I have the final versions of these products or not without installing them (i got no space for install)?
Please someone help me
PS: For some reason my Windows 2000 Pro does not need a serial key for installing.

Well I dunno know about the windows ME but I do know the reason 2kpro doesn\'t ask for a serial number is because of a small change in i think setupp.ini in the i386 dir. When you make a wink3in1 disk u edit all of these so that no s/n is required for install

on 2k it in the following in regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMICROSOFTWINDOWSNTCURRENTVERSION
on ME i have no clue...you could check the same area of your registry...im sure it\'s real close to that
but then again it\'s ME...who really knows
