i\'m running apache on a WinME box... is there a way to make folder links just like the softlinks and hardlinks in *nix?
eg. c:apachehtdocsworld will have the contents of d:archiveuserswebworld
thus if i try http://217.0.0.1/world (http://\"http://217.0.0.1/world\") i\'d be seeing the contents or the pages in d:archiveuserswebworld
anybody got any ideas for this? btw... i already tried using the \"create shortcut\" thingy... did\'nt work..

Short answer, no. Win9x doesn\'t have that ability. Win2k has a new feature that is similar, I don\'t remember the terminology and have not tried it out, but it may do what you want.
Now, apache, with mod_rewrite compiled in, may help. It\'d take a bit of setting up though, and generally wouldn\'t be worth it for what you\'re doing.
