wii! ps3 has trouble playing ps2 games, and is twice as much as a wii. the new wii remote is awesome, i tried both in the store and liked the wii better

ps3 im a great sony fan have been playing them since i was a toddler:) graphics and game play own nintendo unless ur one of them nerds who in to zelda or any of tht rubbish lol

ps3 is just uprageded ps2, they will probably only make a couple games that are only for ps3 not ps2, so if you have ps2 just buy the wii. Benno only reason you dont nintendo makes is because you cant beat an actual good game, just stupid ones that dont require any thinking or anything

meh maybe ps3 was desighned for the less hardcore gamer but at the end of the day would u rather play for maybe 2-3 hours and feel satisfied that you had fun or play for 9-10 hours a day and watch ur life rot away the choice is urs

Hmmm... rubbish... right... PS3 is the exact same system as PS2, just has better graphics, oh joy! why waste $600 on slightly better graphics when you can spend $250 for an entirely new system, Wii, as you most likely know, has new controls which differ from all games before it. So, get Wii. IT ROCKS!!!!

Don't want to retype my PS3 rant so I'll just copy it from RS2MM

And yet, the PS3 takes away from gameplay with the rumble, while the Wii puts you more into the game. While the PS2 had a large supply of good games it was also out the longest. And the fact that the PS3 is so different from the 360 and the Wii in terms of how it was made, that it creates a situation where the game creators have to pay more to make the games than they did before...
Also if the PS3 really wanted to be a good console it would keep sony exclusive games... exclusive (GTA, Final Fantasy etc...).
And exactly how does how the controller looks take away from how it plays? The controller is set so that if you were playing a tennis game, swinging the controller would swing the racket. Is it just a coincidence that the Madden series has gotten the same rating forever because they were all the same... that is until the Wii came out and the game was rated higher on it.
As to saying that Nintendo has all kiddie games, there have alsways been series on even the GCN that disagree with that statement. With games like the Resident Evil series on Nintendo consoles, it is hard to say that the system is just for kids.
And addressing the weight thing. If you are going somewhere and want to take your next gen console with you, which would be easier to bring, a big ol' PS3, or a Wii.
The price will not drop drastically... every PS3 made costs sony about $800, they can't afford to drop the price too much.

My point? Well if you are the kind of person into conventional gaming get a 360... Its a good solid system and a bunch of series that used to be exclusive to the PS2 are being made for the 360, that and it has rumble. The graphics from the 360 to the PS3 are not that drastically different plus the 360 is cheaper. And if you are the kind of gamer that thinks graphics are the most important part of a game then why the hell are you playing Runescape?

Yea 2d graphics wtf? you mean the arcade thing that lets you play a lot of classic games originally for the NES and SNES and some other stuff...

There were never many 2d games by Nintendo, Paper Mario, Four Swords, and Windwaker, i never bothered to buy any because the fact that N64 had better Zelda Graphics than Gamecube just pissed me off, they could easily have made graphics much like that of Ocarina of Time and Majoras mask. Ive seen so many trailers of Zelda on Wii that im 100% positive that im getting it. If you dont like RPG's then you wont like Nintendo, simple.

EDIT: by swinging the controller to swing the racket he means your control IS your racket

And thats a bad thing? I do recall Ocarina of Time being ranked number 1 on almost every 'Best Games Ever' list. So its pretty hard to top Zelda, i dont care what anyone says, theyre the best games ever.

Don't buy all of the Zelda games... There are 3 that are just horrible... the only 3 official Zelda games not made by Nintendo...

I don't see how this is runescape related, but due to the price range  i say wii is better, with the motion and crap, looks pretty cool, pretty resonable price too

ive played wii it seems stupid to me

ps3 is alright but not even close good enough for 600

thats why u should choose the 360

has best games  get gears of war

and u can play with chainsaw on end of ur gone awsoem graphics and its so fun online



off note for wii                 o and those zelda donkey kong games liek that for nintendo is t oeasy and stupid

i played and beat them when i was little they are fun at first then really boring

Yeah, if you seriously dont think those are good graphics you have problems.

Its awesome how you shoot arrows, you hold the controllers like a string as one and an arrow as another, as if your actually shooting the arrow.

EDIT: in response to Massive R4nge: Ok, first off, thought u hated Nintendo, so why do you have Wii? Also, theres no way you finished Zelda or will finish it anytime soon, so stop lying.

I have the Wii and it rocks. When u use the wireless motion sensor controlers u feel like ur in the game and u get so much more freedom. Sony has this piece of crap motion controller that just moves WOW OMG. And the PS3 controller has the same design except that it has a button in the middle. The Nintendo Wiui has a whole new design. Its a whole new system and you can even play gamecube on it as well. The Wii is so portable that I brought it to school and let me principal play...the Wii doesnt have a hard drive but it has a built in memory card inside of the controller so if ur friend has a Wii all u have to do is bring ur controller and u have all ur saved memory. The Wii is only 4 pounds compared to the Ps3's 12 pounds. Thats 3 wiis right there. Wii also comes with 5 free games that you can play with. So if u cant afford any new games becuas eu spent money on the system, its good to go right out of the box. On the PS3, the games cost 60 usd instead of the Wiis 50. Overall the Wii is the flat out best game system out of xbox360,PS3, and the Wii.

u didnt say anything about how wii is better than 360, u just sorta stated that at the end

to be honest i think after a while it will be the same as it was w/ the last generations with Microsoft coming in first, ps3 second and nintendo third

i think the thing that makes 360 a better system isnt the system itself, but the organization of xbox live along with more quality games as opposed to ps3 which will have like a million games but 3/4th of em will be crap
and with the wii, i think it will be in third just because of how many ppl think it will be little kid console, not to mention theres only so much Zelda a person can take, after i beat the first one on N64 the second one was just too much the same. Along with the fact that mario is incredibly boring nowadays (besides tennis thats the best)


i think that after people get over the new controller it will end up being like the gamecube, on sale at toys r us
