Title: Mozillia Firefox

I keep hearing and seeing everyone talk about Mozilla Firefox, but I dont see the big deal about it, does someone know anything, good or bad, that could clear this up for me?

yeah it beats IE but how, the first time i encountered it it was an advertisment (my webpage would go to mozilla.fox. "waste of my time". com) on a virus i got, and i dont think its any diffferent than spam, and i dont think i'd ever switch to it, but i keep reading that its premium software and I still dont understand why?

Never heard of Firefox resorting to that kind of behavior, probably something trying to resemble firefox in some way or manner
It's my primary browser
I use IE only when I have too,
With the addons you can get with firefox, it is customizeable

To many to name, but a couple I enjoy are forecastfox and adblock
Of course I also have IE View lite addon for the times I need to open a page in IE

Even if you don't use it, consider it a backup browser for IE, if you can't connect with IE to the internet for some reason then try your backup browser

I'm not trying to knock it, I'm just curious, I'll try it out, (just wanted to know what everybody else thought of it)

Note: When I talked about the virus advertising it, it was through some web page called WWW.DUMETER.com, and when it changed my homepage to it it had mozilla ads allover it

the reason i started using firefox over IE was because of the multiple tabs you cold have open in one window

A very good example WHY to use Firefox, but enough of that
If this is a different computer than the other you had problems with earlier in the techclinic forum

My computer is no longer having this problem with it, I was just mentioning this was the first time I ever encountered Mozillia Firefox

i got Firefox because i think its great how theres so many add-ons, extensions..the best thing is the themes IE is so boring and ugly but firefoxs looks great, the real reason why i got forefox 2 is because it is the best browser for me as i cant get IE 7 because my comp dosnt pass validation, rofl

I got firefox cause it's customizable, the tabs, and it was faster than IE!  I'd say the best theme to get is Noia Extreme. ReloadEvery (add-on) is very helpful too. (Reloads the page automatically in any interval you want.  Good for ebay bids or anything waiting with a time)

the hing thats cool, that i know of, is that you can make new tabs, a.k.a you can have multiple sites on simultaneously in the same window. the different sites are at the top and you can select if you wanna switch sites immediately /tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

I guess I give it a try, but I have multiple tabs with IE, which came first with that option? IE or Firefox?
