I'm having issues with my mouse cursor freezing up on screen, once it freezes I'm still able to move around the mouse and click on stuff but it's like I have an invisible cursor. I don't know what could be causing the cursor to freeze up on screen like that and me still be able to move the mouse around and click on stuff. I've tried different types of mice PS2 and USB ball mice and USB optical mice and I've tried removing and installing the newest drivers for all types yet I still have the same problem. Kinda sucks to be afraid to open a program/folder for fear of my cursor freezing and me having to restart to get it back. Anyone have any clue as to what may be causing this or maybe how to fix it ?

its probably some kind of spy-ware/virus
just do a full system scan.

questolo has been helping me in the tech clinic with scanning this machine, it seems to be clean now but I'm still having problems with the mouse.

it doesn't sound like your mouse is the problem, it sound like something is wrong with your computer, low RAM maybe?
