Title: Computer shuts itself down? :S

Usually after 1-3 hours of playing on that comp it shuts itself down, without any warning or anything.. first i thought its the power but its been like this for a month now, after it shuts itself down i turn it on again and can be on it 1-2 hours and then again, and again... pissing me off when im on that comp,
 any suggestions what i should do? :S

maybe your computer has low RAM

Sounds like overheating issue
Have you cleaned out the inside of the computer?
How long have you had this computer?

Get yourself a can of compressed air, clean the fans, don't let them spin, keep them from spinning with the end of a pen/pencil

Ensure the intake/outlets are clear of dust/lint
Sounds like the old comp needs a little TLC

Are all fans running?

This comp is only 1 yr old,
Thats what i thoght first, so i opened comp (broke the quarantee thing tho :\ )and cleaned everything like last week.. didnt work tho,
but i'll do it again, and check all the fans, should i try replacing my other comps fan and see if it still shuts itself down?

Is the comp shutting down or restarting?
Can you try the following
Right click on MyComputer icon>>Left click Properties
Advanced tab>>Settings under Startup and Recovery
Uncheck "Automatically Restart"
Ensure there is a check in "Send an Adminstrative Alert"

Maybe the next time it tries to restart it may Blue screen
If it does blue screen, can you post the error message back here

oh i got it fixed /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
i cleaned the comp and fans for like 20 minutes lol, now the comp hasn't shut itself down almost 2 days  : )
