Title: Trojan in script??

I want to install a few free scripts on my site.What I want to know is whether it is possible for the author of the script to embed some secret code to transmit info about my site back to him without my knowledge.How would I know if he\'s done this if it can be done? And how do I stop it?

You can never assure nobody is getting on your computer and leaving something there , even  a firewall  cannot stop real expert hackers . Anyway that\'s what I think . To prevent most of the other  intruders , a firewall is very usefull .
Trojans can be  used by anyone with a little knowledge .
