Title: Removing Drivers in ME
Post by: ASOP on June 02, 2002, 10:49:55 AM
I recently upgraded the drivers for my TNT2Pro video card.   After doing so my TV Wonder VE card has quit working, or at least the video part of it.  I have attempted to uninstall everything relating to the TV card by uninstalling the software relating to it, and removing the associated adapters in the device manager.  Then I restart my computer and the Windows ME installs the drivers automatically for the device, without asking me if I want to.  My question is how can I completely remove the TV drivers from my computer?

Did you try a restore point in winme .
You can also uninstall the drivers from your tnt card and install the latest official detonator drivers .
If you  uninstall the tv card  , winme will reinstall the drivers every time you restart .You can disable the card in the device manager after uninstalling the drivers . There is also \" detonator destroyer \" if you cannot uninstall the detonator drivers , but even if the official detonator driver is older than the one on your computer ,it will let the older one install over the newer one .(but it will ask you ).
