Is any one else having seroius problems with Gothic 3 and desktop crashes? For me the game doesn't even get to the beginning movies, it just shows the gothic 3 symbol on my screen and then a white box pops up with hte heading "Where's the Guru?" and it says a certain file (depends on which patch I have installed) caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I am hoping that a future patch will correct this problem, because I have tried all of the latest patches to no use. I can't tamper with the files because it is in Engine.dll which I cannot turn into a readable format /dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' /> .

the same thing happened to me what you want to do is go to support.aspyr.com and open a new ticket they are fast and should tell you how to fix your problem
