Title: Why take my name?

/unsure.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':unsure:\' />  I dont know if some of you know this....but there is now another b a l a n c e , that has the exact same name as i do. I don't know if any of you find this to be bad? /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />  dumb? /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />  I'm just wondering if i could take this to high places and have his name changed.  /dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' />  If not im super ticked  /dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' />

If anyne has an answer to this problem, please post /tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

An admin should change his name you were here first....and he could possibly scam

Yea a couple of people have warned me about that scamming possibility  /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

And sometimes i confuse myself now because it says ''topic started by b a l a n c e''

Im like wait what the heck i didn't....*pause*...oooooh /dry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'<_<\' />

Yep, rza1 pmed me asking for help saying someone is scamming with ur name.

I did a search for b under Members search

Came up with a member with no posts and joined

Looks like an identical member name if you click the dropdown box next to member name

I see what\'s going on there.

Not really a good idea to use spaces in your display name, there\'s an easy way to spoof your name.

Instead of using one space, he used two spaces.  When a web browser runs into more than one space, it consolidates it into one space.  Unless you use a special html code, you will only see one space.

In other words, \"our\" balance\'s display name is:

b a l a n c e

The other guy\'s is:

b  a  l  a  n  c  e

Without the special html code, the second name would appear exactly like the first.

Looks as if the user changed his/her display name from b a l a n c e to Rs Addict
That's probably why I'm seeing the 0 posts

That's something different.  You're seeing b a l a n c e as their login name, which is different from their display name.  Our b a l a n c e has a different login name than what his display name is.

Guestolo (with a G) posts quite a bit, just not in this section.  It's me that doesn't ever post.  Unless you count the News section, which is just an RSS bot.
