Title: I'm tired off all these noobs.
Post by: darkimage888 on January 02, 2007, 04:02:19 PM: All of you noobs talking about what you guys call "trust". Trust is not something you earn from transactions or middle mans. Trust is something you earn by becoming friends with people around you. When you have friends in real life, do you consider them trusted by trading items with them? No, you get it by getting to know them and learn about their personality. So when you noobs talk about other people, don't say they aren't trusted *cough*joey*cough*, because you have never done a transaction with them. I am plenty respected on TTG by elites. Only because they don't judge you by how many transactions you have. If you want to record your transactions in your signiture, follow the following:

1.) If you give someone a free sig, DON'T record it. It requires no trust and means nothing.
2.) Don't record trades over 100k, or else it means nothing.
3.) If the trade was happening, but it was cancelled, don't record it, being scammed is different.
4.) If you middle man, record both the TTG screen names, and put it in your sig.
5.) If you trade, ask for their TTG name, or else it won't do you any good.

Here are a list of scammers for you all(just to help):

Here are some tips when doing a trade:
Selling:
- Have the person PM me you from there THETECHGUIDE username.
- Take screenshots of the MSN Convo & RS Convo EVERYTIME -- TEXT DOCUMENTS ARE WORTHLESS - REGARDLESS IF YOU'RE SCAMMED OR NOT!!!
- Most importantly, to avoid being paid with a stolen paypal, have the person who owns the email send you an email from their paypal email (this is a must)
- Only sell 3mill (maximum) to first time customers - Never sell over 3mill, next time, if 1st trade is sucessful, they can get more!

BLOODOGRE'S UNIQUE SAFE-WAY FOR PAYPAL'ing: When selling mills, require the person have a note in the notes section when sending money. This note says they are satisfied, and got their product. (Of course, for less-known members, you may have a hard time using this, cause you're less-trusted but MM's should have the authority to have you include such a note pre-sale)

BUYING:
- When buying, follow some of the same steps, such as identifying the person on THETECHGUIDE (have them PM you)
- Take screenshots, regardless of the outcome.
- Buy from a trusted user, even if it cost more. Would you rather have 2mills @ $20 from a trusted user, or 2 mills @ $15 from an untrusted user. Chances are, the low prices are there to lure you in and scam.

I'm also tired of the old fasioned "MM'ing for Free!!" It's getting old. And it makes it a lot funnier when they say something like "Can not be over 3m" or something like that. but i will take ur advice (even tho it was to kmuk) to make sections in my sig once i get to 40 or once im really bored lol, i did before untill it said it was too long

wait...i agree with you on everything else...but why would only things UNDER 100k count...shouldnt it be the other way around.

i mean...almost anybody can be trusted with under 100k...its pennies...but things over 100k...or over 1m...thats something that shows some1 can be trusted...
